This petite cafe and wine bar with its red and white striped awning has become a popular hangout for early morning lattes, quick lunches on the sidewalk patio and casual evenings of drinking wine and meeting up with friends. During monthly Art Walks on the second Thursday of the month, Banquette buzzes with almost every kind of Downtown denizen you could imagine. They have a small but lovely selection of wines by the glass as well as beer. On Tuesday-Friday wine is $5 and beer is $3. After 7 p.m., nightly specials kick in that include cheese plates, dessert with your prosecco or discounts on entire bottles. Banquette is a great place to hunker down with your laptop and a frothy cappuccino for a few hours.  Open Tues.-Thurs until 10 p.m.; Fri.-Sat. until 11 p.m.
